What we tell ourselves about a situation is a powerful thing. Business not growing? It’s easy to say it’s because of the market. Or because of circumstances. Or because of the weather. But what do you do when you’re watching someone else thrive with the same circumstances?
When JoyGenea and Michelle met, they quickly joined forces as office mates. And Michelle’s business started to achieve some of the things that JoyGenea had wanted for her business. Michelle thought JoyGenea had decided to keep her business small. JoyGenea didn’t realize that the small decisions she made every day made sure her business stayed on it’s course, even while she set goals for the kind of growth she was seeing in Michelle’s business.
